The green “K” stickers for the Kingwood Parks on resident cars are going to be replaced with a “White K” sticker and will be serialized. This will go into effect January 1st 2011, so if you live in a home in the surrounding areas that are going to use the surrounding Kingwood parks, especially River Grove Park where the boat ramps, large park area, and covered picnic area is at the end of Woodland Hills you need to be aware of this. Residents must have this serialized sticker visible on their vehicles, or the vehicle will be subjected to being towed. Homeowners will have to go to Ethel McCormick’s office (1102 Suite 100 Kingwood Dr) which is in the front of Kingwood, across from Stein Mart in the Main Street Bank building to get this serialized sticker that is going to be registered to their home…so take some form of proof with you when you go to Ethel’s office to get your new sticker.
Not all Kingwood residents are eligible for the sticker. The stickers will only be issued to people residing in villages that are members of the KSA (Kingwood Service Association).
